When a major release of Textual is published, you may be asked to purchase it; even if you already own an earlier version of the app. This is done to help support those that put work into the app.
This is not a very frequent event as seven major releases have been published with only two that required a purchase. You should still be aware of the possibility to avoid confusion in the future.
If there does comes a time and a major release of Textual is published that requires a purchase, then please be aware that you are under no obligation to purchase it.
If you do choose to purchase the major release, then the fact that you own an earlier version of Textual will make you eligible for a free or discounted upgrade; depending on when you purchased the app.
If you do not choose to purchase the major release, then you can continue to use your earlier version of Textual, but unless stated otherwise by the License Agreement you agreed to, the following shall apply:
